At the Office

This blog update comes from the office.  I'm sticking around to kill some time as I am meeting Tiffany around 6:30 to head to a trivia night sponsored by the International Student Office at a pub which is across the street from my office.  We have been promised a free night of fun, food, and grog.

My history lecture this morning was interesting.  We had a guest lecturer (who I believe was British, from the accent) who talked about the Seven Years War and its causation of the American Revolution.  I also feel as though he was British as his general commentary indicated a pretty strong bias against the "greedy" colonists.  I sure am getting American history from a different perspective than I am used to!

Work today consisted of computer drafting and number crunching, as well as a foray in the approval of lodged small scale plans.  An interesting exercise in counting just how many things an architect was attempting to get away with against the zoning on a small site.  I suppose today was a day of fresh perspectives.

The time changed on Sunday, and I just got to see the sun set out our eighth floor window - a pretty sunset, though I would have prefered it to stay light the extra hour.
